In a nutshell, this mysterious, anonymous street artist dubbed "Invader", goes around the world and places his mosaic-tiled artworks of Space Invaders characters in specially chosen locations. You can read more about him and where in the world he has "invaded" here.
There are supposedly a few in Amsterdam, and I found the first one!
We have these in Toronto! There's one on the wall of the subway station in my neighbourhood. I always wondered what that was, and now I know!
