'Twas the Night Before Christmas

"Tiger Balm Kissing Asana"

That's a search term someone used yesterday and ended up on my blog.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I wonder if they found what they were looking for?

Nothing new to report on the practice front today. Except when Teacher gave us all a Merry Christmas kiss as we were leaving, she said to me (and only me) "Don't eat too much!"

ARGHHHHH! How did she know?! I think she's been keeping an eye on me and those binds. Or maybe she just knows us Singaporeans are gluttons. HAHA.

Is it really Christmas Eve already? Geewhiz, that descended upon us pretty quickly innit? Have a great break everyone, and you bet I'm gonna be stuffing my face for the next couple of days. Too bad it's not cold here so I can't stretch out in front of the fire like this bad boy!

  1. Merry Christmas to you, too, J.

How about our Cleanses? What happened there? All that hard work, down the gurgler! LOL. Perhaps we will have to ReCleanse. Perhaps I chose the wrong time of year to do the Cleanse in the first place. What to do with all the Premium Chocolate Gifts?

    Anyway, have a good one!

  2. AHA! That's why Urban Remedy's such a great concept! ...So we've gotta do the cleanse all over again!

Don't worry sista, be guilt-free and power your way through those chocolates (I would). We can definitely do another cleanse in the new year. Life happens, our bodies will just have to suck it up and deal with it! (Oh, the torture our guts go through with this feast or famine!) ;p Merry merry! x

  4. Did your teacher really only tell YOU not to eat too much??? I don't believe it! I laughed out loud when I read that.

I'm currently feeling a little ill from all the baking I did today. I licked the bowels, the beaters, the frosting... (don't worry, no white sugar used, but that didn't stop me from being a pig!).

We'll work it off after the holidays. Yoga is hard, remember.

    Merry Christmas!

  6. ...sorry, was laughing so hard I didn't finish that comment.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS GEMMA & LIZ!!
PS. Yes, she said that to me only. Maybe I'm being overly-sensitive but Gemma was there too maybe she heard it too?

    "I licked the bowels". BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  7. Love the kitteh!

LMAO about the eating too much, too. My In laws arrived last night, and brought xmas cake, chocolates, xmas pudding, licorice allsorts, chocolate cake and caramels. Barf.

Guess what? My love of sugar hasn't really come back since the gastro. Woohoo!

    Merry Christmas and all!

  9. Hi Skippety,

Been reading yur blog - loving it !

Just got Meahle's book and he keeps going on about how 'excessive adipose tissue' makes practising second series difficult. He advises eating less and exercising more. As if it's that easy.

  10. Hey Floss! Hehe, I wonder how Maehle's adipose tissue count fares during the end of year feasting season? I can't wait to get my book in the mail some time soon I hope. Merry merry! We shall all burn away this Christmas cake in time to come. No guilt with eating, it's more enjoyable that way (and it's only once a year). :)

  11. hi Skippety
i went to search how my word searches where going and didn't find any unusual things this time. however, it never fails to amuse me that near the top of biggest word searches that land people in my blog are "yoga flip your dog". seems i wrote about that asana once and it must be popular with practitioners of power yoga.
    cheers,
    Arturo

  13. Hey Arturo, I can't wait till someone in power vinyasa makes up a term for some kind of pigeon variation so we can finally hear "let's flip the bird" in a yoga class. HAHAHA.

...and Susan, I really feel like I need to lick the bowels now. Oo er, did I really just say that? Heh.
